The Ballpark neighborhood runs roughly from 900 South to 2100 South between I-15 and State Street, with the Ballpark TRAX station in the middle. It's named for Smith's Ballpark, which the Salt Lake Bees left after the 2024 season for Daybreak in South Jordan.
Historically older, more affordable single-family homes, and now more apartments and condos than houses.
In December 2025 the city adopted the Ballpark NEXT plan. It reuses part of the stadium as an entertainment and retail venue and adds a new fire station and library, shared parking and a West Temple festival street. It's a $100 million program that includes a $22 million donation from the Miller family. Zoning for the site was still being worked out in 2026, and developers expect the whole thing to take five to ten years.
Salt Lake City School District. Check the boundary for any address.
Buying near a redevelopment means a neighborhood that's changing and years of construction nearby. Call or text me at (385) 318-3259 and we'll look at which blocks are closest to the work.
